This coffee body scrub is amazing. It leaves your skin incredibly soft and so smooth, and helps tone your body like nobody’s business.
There are tons of incredible benefits of exfoliating, especially if you have dry skin. If you feel like your moisturizer just sits on top of your skin after you apply it, that’s a sign you’re not exfoliating enough.
Here are some of my favorite benefits:
01 | GETS RID OF DEAD SKIN
Exfoliating removes dead skin cells that clog your pores and make your skin look dry and flaky. Gently scrubbing helps reveal the new and dewy skin hiding underneath. With a fresh layer of new skin, your products will absorb much better and a lot deeper — which helps combat dryness and irritation even further.
02 | STIMULATES CELLULAR REGENERATION
Exfoliating encourages new cell renewal, which leads to brighter, firmer, smoother skin. It also reduces skin discoloration, evens out your skin tone, and improves circulation — giving you that natural glow.
03 | REMOVES TOXINS
Dry brushing, along with exfoliating, stimulates your lymphatic system, which helps remove toxins and trapped fat cells (aka cellulite) from your body. Definitely one of the best benefits.
WHY THIS COFFEE BODY SCRUB RECIPE IS SO INCREDIBLE:
- Coffee — is an anti-inflammatory. Caffeine not only tightens and firms your skin, but improves skin circulation. (*PRO TIP: Use your leftover coffee grounds, they’re perfect for this exfoliating body scrub).
- Coconut Oil — an incredible natural beauty ingredient with tons of nourishing vitamins and minerals that help lock in moisture.
- Coconut Palm Sugar — helps exfoliate, along with the coffee grounds. Opt for organic cane sugar if you need a deeper exfoliation. It’s coarser in texture and works better.
- Cinnamon — an anti-inflammatory spice that brings blood and nutrients to the surface of your skin, which helps brighten your skin. If you have sensitive skin, leave this out.
This coffee body scrub is one of my favorite go-to’s, especially in the winter. It’s perfect to add to your self-care ritual. You can thank me later.
